I can't believe it has been over 3 years when we brought Kapone home to join our family!

I say it all the time, Kapone is such a sweet boy. I can't imagine our life without him. He makes us laugh every. single. day. He is the best snugger. He loves to play with any toys. He is the first to great you when you walk in the house. He always has a big dopey micky mouse smile on that cute masked face of his. He is goofy. He is floppy. He loves to have fun. He is super curious. He loves to play with everyone, people and pup. He is a sneaky little bugger. He is a pretty little guy. He adores Kokua. He would follow Danny anywhere. He is a big scaredy cat when it comes to loud noises. He loves to cuddle. He is our masked retriever. He is a thief and a robber. He is adorable and everyone that meets him instantly loves him.
To celebrate his birthday on Saturday we decided to have a little party. Pulled out the birthday decorations and everything!
Usually on a puppy birthday we treat the 2 of them to "birthday cake" and that is it. But this year we decided to have a little bit more fun. It sounds like we are creepyweird to have a birthday party for our dog but really it wasn't weird, I promise! We invited Kyle, Rachel and Rocco over and we had 1st dinner (it was like 3:30). I made Teriyaki Chicken and rice bowls.

Oh my gosh, these were amazing! Danny even asked if we could have them every weekend. We also had Oreos, of course! Those are the things in the above picture with the toothpick flags, K's on them for Kapone (I just can't help myself sometimes).
After we ate we took the puppies over to the school behind our house so they could run and play in the field. I didn't get any pictures of them playing but it was so funny to watch them, they love running together. And Kokua can't resist a little side bashing when the opportunity presents itself. We let the 3 of them run for a while and finally when we couldn't stand the cold any longer we came back home and the puppies got their cake.
We ordered pizza (2nd dinner) and tried to find a movie to watch. Rachel and I had the hardest time trying to find Here Comes the Boom in the Redbox. Her app kept lying to us. So we finally ended up with The Cold Light of Day and Trouble with the Curve. The boys wanted to watch the action one so we started The Cold Light of Day, skip it, don't bother renting it. We watched like 30 or 40 minutes of it and then ended up fast forwarding through the rest of it while Kyle narrated as we went. It was hilarious actually. Bruce Willis dies in the first 10 minutes so really, how good could it get after that? Danny and I watched Trouble with the Curve later, I liked it alright but Danny said it was nothing special and wouldn't recommend it. So there ya go, 2 movie reviews for you. If you could even call that a review...
Anyway... back to the birthday boy!
I love my sweet little baby boy and I'm so glad he is part of our family! Happy Birthday little buddy!
