Danny and I had a pretty fun Valentine's Day this year. It was on Thursday so we both had to work but I came home for lunch to a tray full of Danny's homemade truffles. They were delicious! And I am so proud of him for making them for me.
And he woke up to a tray full of York's, one of his favorites, but didn't see them and tossed the covers over it, the tray crashed to the ground and all the York's flipped out on the bed. I still don't know how that happened and how it didn't even phase him... When he started getting ready for work and didn't say anything about the little surprise I left for him I started to get little nervous and thought maybe he didn't like it. Then I looked at the bed and saw the blanket thrown over and saw the tray on the ground, I found all the York's under the blanket and picked them all up and put them back on the tray. Shyly and feeling a little silly I asked if he saw these when he woke up. He told me he didn't see them and when I asked if heard some noise when he got up and explained that I found the tray on the ground and everything spilled out he said "oh I thought I heard something but I didn't know what."He was too sleepy to know he made the noise I guess... It was really cute and we got a good laugh out of it. and he was really happy about his little tray of York's!
For our Valentines this year I decided to make Italian Sodas for our family and "Crush" cans for our friends and my work peeps. They turned out pretty cute and were super yummy.
They kind of make me want to add creamer to every soda I drink from here on out. It was delish!
I love this picture of Lily, I think she liked her Valentine :)Hopefully everyone had a great Valentine's day and spent time with people you love!
Love you all!!
