Getting Ready for the Party

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Today is the 31st wooo hooo! I am so excited for our little gathering tonight! It is going to be so much fun! I was asked to bring a dessert! Not such a hard assignment, I thought maybe cookies, cupcakes or something but I decided against that. I came across this awesome website called Picky Palate and I wanted to try a recipe: Cookie Pies. They looked really yummy! This is how mine turned out:

They taste pretty yummy too! I am very excited to take them with us tonight!

It sure takes a long time to fill a jar one piece at a time, let me tell you. But I did find out that Kokua likes Candy Corn, didn't know that before. Her first one she was a little hesitant about but once she bit into it she decided she really liked em. We don't like them so much so I gave the broken ones to the puppy.

For our costume Danny is going as Rambo and I'm going as his Army girl!

I am so excited! This is going to be so much fun!

So I've got camo pants for both of us and black t shirts. Then I went and got some camo bandanas. Danny has a Rambo wig and I even cut out spots to stick to the jeep!

This is the real deal folks... we even include the vehicle! hahahahahahahaha

And for my favorite part of the whole costume:

DANNY'S SHOT GUN!

This thing is so much fun! I was so excited to pick this up for Danny and he has had a lot of fun with it! Don't worry, he doesn't try to hit the puppy.

Oh and I can't forget, the puppy has a costume too!!!

As some of you know, there was a pumpkin carving contest at my work. Unfortunately I did not win but I had a lot of fun carving my pumpkin anyway! Here is how my mummy turned out:
