Bowling

I really can't say enough how much I love bowling! When Danny and I met we would go all the time and we went quite a few times when we first got married. I've always wanted to join a league, I like it that much. Sadly we never did and it's been quite a while sense we went last, like 2 year... I was so excited when Danny suggested that we go a couple weekends ago. We invited Kyle and Rachel to go with us and we had so much fun! We were going to try out the new Big Al's that's supposed to be amazing but there was a 45 minute wait for a lane and that was only to play 1 game. Who can play just 1 game? So we ditched that place and all the jr high school kids and went to my most favoritest place to bowl, 20th Century Lanes.

It may smell a little funny and look a little old but it's the best! The people are nice and friendly and I can always find a good ball. We were a little worried driving over that it would be busy because Big Al's was so packed but there were only 3 other groups there, it was awesome! We ended up playing 2 games and I am so much worse then I used to be. I've never been good, Danny is good, but I got a lot better when we would play all the time. Danny was a little upset that he was off his game too. It was still fun to play and hang out with our friends.
Then last Friday I came home for lunch and Danny told me he was hooked and wanted to go again. I was ecstatic! Of course I wanted to go again too! We invited Kyle and Rachel again but they weren't able to go Friday night so we decided to go Saturday night instead and this time I took the tab so I could take pictures!
First let me tell you that bowling pictures stink, you can't really see anyone when they are bowling it's all backside. Plus no one really wanted their picture taken so, it's all butts. It's pretty funny to see how we all look when we bowl though! It was a little hard to get pictures because it was so dark and the tab was really slow but I got a few good ones.
Danny doesn't use the thumb hole when he bowls and he has a crazy awesome spin he puts on it. It's pretty fun to watch. I love the follow through!

Kyle and Danny kept telling Rachel what to do each time she went up so her form changed every time she was up.

Kyle was doing the crazy spin thing too and he got pretty good at it.

We played 2 games and right when we were deciding to play a 3rd they turned the Cosmic lights on. At 10 it turns to Cosmic bowling but I guess there wasn't enough people there last week for them to turn the lights on...
I finally got a shot of Danny's leg sweep :)

And this is when he got a TURKEY! He was hilarious! He said he could feel that one was going to be good and he would get it. And he DID!

Here's me, they kept teasing me because I sweep my leg so far back. But check out that ball, straight down the middle! I'm pretty sure I knocked down a lot of pins in this frame.

Toward the end Rachel started doing this thing where she stuck her leg out, it was pretty cute, I had to get a picture.

I'm pretty sure Kyle almost biffed it right here and probably still got a strike or a spare, whatever he was going for.
