I feel like I'm kind of starting all over again because it's been so long sense I have updated the blog. Life has been great this past year and it sure flew by fast. It is my goal next year to make time to update at least once a month so I can keep track and remember what life was like at this time of our lives. I honestly can't even remember what we were doing January through May because I didn't post it on the blog or record at all. I started a new position at my work last December and sense then I have not had time and have neglected our blog. That will change this coming year! The most exciting thing this year has been the gym. Danny was able to open a gym in May and has been working so hard every night kicking all our butts! He does such a great job planing workouts and mastering nutrition. It is amazing how much he knows about food and how the body works. He is always reading and studying to learn all that he can to help those he trains. It's been so fun to go down to the gym every night and work out and see week after week how much stronger everyone is getting. It's great to look back on where we all started and see the gains we have made. I love being able to go and work out with all my new friends and see how far we have all come in just the few short months sense we first started. It is so rewarding to see someone who couldn't do a pull up get their first pull up with out a band for assistance; or a person that had such a hard time learning to air squat and trying to get the position get so much more flexibility that they can actually do a squat; or see how much more confidence a person has gotten because they can pull weight they didn't know they could do. I have gotten so much stronger and have been so surprised with how far I can push my body to work. It's amazing how far I have come from being the wimpiest kid growing up to now and can throw around weight I never thought possible. It has been so fun and so exciting to see the changes in the peoples lives Danny's works with and we have had the opportunity to meet so many awesome people. I can not wait to see how far this will take us and the experiences we will be fortunate to have this coming year because of the gym!
I will be updating again soon and I'll go through the pictures that I took this past year and fill in the blanks from everything I missed from 2011 as well as talking about the things going on currently. We love you all and are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends in our life. Merry Christmas!!
