Have you ever heard of
Elf on the Shelf? I had seen it on the internets before but never really knew what it was until Danny's mom gave us one. This is the cutest thing!!! The story is so cute and the book is so fun to read. Basically the deal is Santa has these elf scouts that he sends to stay at your home during the day to observe how naughty or nice you are and then they fly back to the North Pole every night to report to Santa. Every morning when they fly back to your house they are in a different spot so it's fun when you get up to go check out where he is each time. Danny and I had a lot of fun with our elf O'Henry
(Danny named him and it's perfect!) this year and I am excited to make this a tradition in our home for Christmas!
We registered O'Henry at
ElfontheShelf.com and we received an adoption certificate and a letter from Santa.
As soon as December came around we pulled out all our Christmas decorations and decorated the house for Christmas and O'Henry came out and started spying. For those of you that follow me on
instagram @abenchproduction you may remember seeing some of the places O'Henry was seen. He was all over our apartment during the 24 days he was with us. Some days he was more mischievous then others but it was so fun to wake up and see where he had ended up each day.
Here is a collage of all 24 days in December of O'Henry's sneaking. In order starting with December 1st and ending with Christmas!

He was everywhere from sitting nicely on the mantle to inside Danny's stocking, he even opened and was inside one of my presents! He tried out Santa's slay, made online purchases and wanted to make cookies. He is a crazy little elf and we enjoyed every minute he was with us. I can't wait to see where he ends up next year!!!
