We didn't do everything on the countdown and we didn't always do the days in order but we had so much fun! And ps: the pictures weren't always taken the day of either :) I did the best I could.
Day 1: Boo 2 families
This is the best I could get; I tried to take a photo at the door but somebody doesn't use a porch light So I took one when we got home.
Day 2: Make a Halloween garlandDay 3: Decorate for Halloween
Day 4: Make some spooky spiders
Didn't make spiders but I did make a spider web!
Day 5: Make a Halloween Craft
Danielle and I made this wreath last year and I decided to make one for Rachel this year. I made it during conference like we did last year. I think that makes it a Saturday morning conference tradition now.
Day 6: Try bobbing for apples
No thanks.
Day 7: Wrap up your kids like mummies
We didn't wrap up Kokua and Kapone but we did watch while Jayson wraped Lily and Ben!
Day 8: Look back through family pictures and find costume pictures, display them
This is the only one I have! We need to dress up more often I guess. This is from the first Halloween we were married. Danny was Rambo and I'm an army girl.
Day 9: Make a wall of bats
Day 10: Go to the store or pumpkin patch to find your perfect pumpkin
Day 11: Have a Halloween coloring contest
I had fun with this one and colored 5 1/2 and Danny colored 1 1/2. The 1/2 was the ghost, we both colored parts of that one. I liked Danny's scarecrow so it won and I framed it! See it up there next to our pumpkins?
Day 12: Make a special Halloween Lunch
The jokes made this lunch special and Danny brought them along one Sunday and we had a special dinner too.
Day 13: Pick out everyone's favorite Halloween candy, vote to see whose is the most popular
Not our favorites but I had a coopin. Danny likes Baby Ruth so I got him those and the 100 grand are pretty yummy. My vote goes to the 100 grand and I think so did Danny's because they were gone first.
Day 14: Play Halloween Tic-tac-toe
Day 15: Halloween Ding-dong-ditching
To be perfectly honest I had every intention of ditching these but Danny wanted to eat them and I've never had one so we ding-dong-ditched ourselves and they were great! Kokua and Kapone were a little annoyed at the door but we thought it was fun.
Not a huge fan of caramel apples. Maybe next year I will just get those suckers, I love those things!
I will do this next year, I had such a yummy looking recipe but I never got the chance to make it.
Day 18: Have a witch cackling contest and record it
Day 19: Watch your favorite Halloween movie
I didn't get to see either of my favorites but they were both on TV at one point this month and I caught about 5 minutes of each. Then on Halloween Danny and I watched the Halloween episodes of That 70's Show!
Um maybe next year...
Day 21: Make pumpkin sugar cookies and decorate them
We just went with straight up Pumpkin cookies!
Day 22: Have an impromptu Halloween dance party
{not pictured-hahahahaha}
Day 25: Read your favorite Halloween book
Day 26: Carve your pumpkin
I love these little guys from Despicable Me, they are so cute.
Day 27: Have a special Halloween breakfast
I made OBB Pumpkin Bread, it was pretty delicious!
I'll do better at this one next year.
I was going to take treats to my Sunbeams but they were all out of town on Sunday...
Day 31: Take a silly Halloween family photo
We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again next year!
