If any of you have been over to our house you probably haven't even noticed these chairs. They are pretty easy to miss. No pizazz at all! We were pretty lucky when we moved to our place to get our table and chairs for free from a co-worker of mine that was moving and didn't want it any more. And any newlywed couple that has absolutely no furniture loves a free kitchen table! I was so excited to bring it home! We could actually eat at a table and not on the floor wooo hooo! I was happy when we got it that it was a neutral color and pretty much matched our place!
Lately I've been thinking we needed a little more color and these would be super easy to make over. So I hit Jo-Ann's and found some really fun BOLD fabric! After a trip to Home Depot to get a staple gun and a much needed drill, I came home and cut, ironed and stapled these bad boys together! I was so excited, they looked awesome! After screwing them back on to the frame i was really excited about our new chairs.
It's a big change, now when I walk into the kitchen I actually notice the chairs! It's so much fun!
I can't wait to tackle another couple of fabric projects.... the curtains will be soon! But for now, I'll just be in love with these chairs!

Those chairs look so good! And they are so YOU! Question: how much does a staple gun actually cost? I need one myself.
Those are so AWESOME! I love those chairs. You did such a great job.
Our's cost around $17, it's a staple gun and a nail gun! It was only a couple bucks more and who knows, one day we may need a nail gun.... that could be fun!
